Job Description Role Title - Activities Assistant Minimum Age – 16 Disclosure Checks – Yes Is driving essential for the role? - No What We Need You To Do We are looking for dedicated reliable volunteers to assist within our services. The ideal volunteer will support play between children and carers within the groups promoting learning opportunities associated with the activities offered or be able to support at parent focused activities, offering a warm welcome. You may also be required to assist the staff in preparing snacks for the children or refreshments for the parents. Types of activity support required: Creche support Groups - Thriving Child, Developing Baby, Developing Toddler, Small Steps Supporting at antenatal activities- Bump Club, Solihull antenatal course. Parenting Group support What Skills and experience do you need? Be friendly and have a good sense of humour Understand the needs of young children and families Be reliable Be confident Be passionate about supporting family or child development.
