Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a specialist Private Hospital, located in Birmingham, who opened their doors earlier this year. This purpose-built hospital offers a full range of surgeries including Cardiology, ENT, Gynaecology, General, Oncology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Spinal as well as complex care. At present, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join their six-bedded Intensive Care Unit caring for Level 2 and Level 3 patients.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised critical care team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient-focused care. Reporting directly to the Critical Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the department, responding efficiently in emergency situations, and providing expert knowledge and leadership to the junior nurses. In order to be successful with this opportunity, you will need to have a strong background in critical care with previous in-charge experience.
This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will be worked in a mixture of long days, nights, and weekends.

Role Requirements
1. NMC Registration
2. Right to work in the UK
3. Previous experience working at a senior capacity
4. Extensive experience working within Critical Care
5. Experience caring for Level 1 to Level 3 patients
6. ILS trained, ALS will be advantageous
7. Passion for high-quality care
8. Motivated individual
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
10. High sense of personal responsibility
Summary
In return, there is a generous salary of up to £42,500 on offer including unsociable enhancements, plus a £3,000 annual bonus for candidates who hold the accredited Critical Care Course (60 credits). My client is also offering a competitive benefits package including:
