The company:
A multi-disciplinary principal contractor specialising in delivering new build and refurbishment projects across the private and public sector. Typical projects range from £5-12 million in value across the South East and include commercial, student accommodation, industrial, education and healthcare.
The role:
Due to an ongoing increase workflow across Kent the need has arisen to recruit a Senior Site Manager to join their experienced team. The Senior Site Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of new build and refurbishment projects across the South East. Key responsibilities will include:
7. Health & safety implementation and management
8. Management of construction programmes and creating short-term programmes.
9. Working as part of a project team and taking the lead role when required to.
10. Monitor and manage subcontractor performance
11. Collaborating with the commercial and design management function within the business.
12. Client interface.
About you:
This role is perfect for you if:
13. Experience: You have previous experience in the same or a similar position and a proven track record of delivering new build projects in excess of £5 million in value.
14. Technical skills: You are proficient in Microsoft Office software packages.
15. Qualifications: Current CITB site based qualifications
16. Problem solving: Able to identify and mitigate risks.
