What You’ll Do:
As a Learning Support Assistant with The Education Network, you’ll play a crucial role in helping SEMH pupils thrive both academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing tailored support to individual students, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
2. Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to foster a supportive learning environment.
3. Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.
4. Collaborating with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure a consistent approach to each pupil’s learning and wellbeing.
5. Offering emotional support and guidance to help students navigate their challenges.

1. Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
2. A patient, empathetic, and resilient personality.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
