Join Our Team as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Supporting SEMH Pupils
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have a heart for supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we want you to be part of our dedicated team!
What You’ll Do:
As a Learning Support Assistant with The Education Network, you’ll play a crucial role in helping SEMH pupils thrive both academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing tailored support to individual students, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
2. Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to foster a supportive learning environment.
3. Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.
4. Collaborating with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure a consistent approach to each pupil’s learning and wellbeing.
5. Offering emotional support and guidance to help students navigate their challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
2. A patient, empathetic, and resilient personality.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
