Description An exciting opportunity as arisen for a Crime and Security Officer on a permanent contract with Wincanton. The role objective is to support the business to identify, measure and manage security risks and incidents as effectively as possible. Its a front line role, providing day to day security services, as dictated by operational need. We are looking for someone to provide a professional and positive lasting impression protecting colleagues, property and brand. Pay Rates:- £12.13 per hour How will you contribute? · Crime prevention and detection o Pedestrian and vehicular access control o Visitor and contractor controls o Patrols o Incident and alarm response o Monitoring security and life safety systems o Searches and investigation. · What will you bring? · Experience of operational security and risk mitigation across a supply chain environment or similar industry. · SIA Licensed or ability to obtain licensed status. · Good communicator, both written and verbal at all levels of the business. · Self-motivated, enthusiastic and has excellent time management skills. · Knowledge of security systems and emerging technology · Knowledge of industry security standards e.g., AEO, TAPA · Knowledge and understanding of UK laws including P.A.C.E. and Business Policies. · Beneficial - relevant security related qualification and/or an experience in a similar role. · Able to achieve government SC clearance as required.
