Do you have a passion for developing the minds of young people? Are you a good role model who values commitment and dedication? Maybe you've always wanted to teach but don't have the qualifications or a way into teaching? If you have answered 'yes' to any of the above, you could be the person we are looking for.
We are looking for an ambitious Teaching Assistant who can work in partnership with our Tutor to motivate and inspire a group of learners who have not had good experiences of education up until now. We aim to instil confidence and self-belief in our pupils and are looking for a supportive and understanding individual to help support and encourage our young people. Someone who can help our students to see that they are worth more than they believe and that they have a future. This role isn't just about helping our students gain qualifications, it's about helping them to see a life beyond the qualification and see value in the skills they are taught. It's about playing an essential role in helping young people to find their future.
Career progression is something we promote and are passionate about at Catch22. Should you have aspirations beyond this role, Catch22 will support you to gain teaching qualifications and other professional development opportunities so that, one day you might develop to become a qualified Tutor and lead a class of your own.
