The Role:
You’ll be working with students who have special educational needs (SEN), including social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH). Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support, helping students overcome learning barriers.
* Implementing personalised interventions to promote emotional well-being and academic progress.
* Supporting students with challenging behaviours by using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.
* Collaborating with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals.
* Creating a safe and structured learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals (children, young adults, or families) in a professional capacity.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and behaviour management strategies.
* Ability to support students with SEMH challenges, trauma, and behavioural difficulties.
* Resilient, patient, and empathetic personality.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
