A highly respected, Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in the heart of Cambridge is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis starting in January 2025 (or sooner if possible). The Role: The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a KS1 class, fostering a stimulating and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. You will plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to individual needs, while encouraging a love for learning and ensuring excellent progress.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience teaching KS1, with a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
* Ability to plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable:
* Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* Experience or a strong interest in working with children with additional learning needs.
