Year 4 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Position Type: Full-time (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: £157.66 per day

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for a new challenge? Join our vibrant primary school in Caerphilly as we offer an exciting opportunity for a Year 4 teacher to cover maternity leave. You’ll be instrumental in guiding our students through their final year of primary education, helping them prepare for the next phase of their academic journey.
Role Overview:
Design and teach engaging lessons for Year 4 pupils, ensuring full alignment with the Welsh curriculum.
Tailor lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students, using a variety of teaching methods to encourage participation and understanding.
Monitor student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate records of assessments and achievements.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and contribute to the overall development of the school's teaching programme.
Establish and maintain clear communication with parents, updating them on student progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Experience teaching primary-aged children, with a preference for experience in Year 4.
A solid understanding of the Welsh curriculum and how to deliver effective lessons.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A passion for creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Flexible, adaptable, and dedicated to supporting the values and ethos of the school.
