* Troubleshooting - 'Walking the factory floor' to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action. Dealing with issues as and when required.
* Managing Corrective actions - making sure corrective actions are completed within appropriate timescales and that the relevant documents have been completed, e.g. hold log, non-conformance log. Reporting any complex issues to QA Supervisor or QA Manager.
* Audit paperwork - checking the production paperwork has been completed correctly by production staff (Checking production line paperwork)
* Hygiene Audits, micro swabbing and micro sampling product
* Checking the 'online' verifier and dealing with any issues
* Formal GMP, Fabrication and Process Control Audits
* Conduct documented checks that a % of the production run is within product specification
* Opportunity to work an overtime outside of your standard hours and potential career progression across other technical departments
* About the shift pattern:
* This 4 on 4 off QA role is based in our Technical department but working in all areas of the factory as required. Day shift available with core hours - 6am - 5pm.
Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
* Be able to work additional hours as overtime may be required
* Ideally have experience of working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
* Have a good level of both written and verbal English
* Ideally have Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification
