An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic team at a not-for-profit veterinary hospital in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will be an experienced RVN with at least two years in practice, confident working in a high pressure, fast paced hospital environment. Calm, kind, and compassionate under pressure, they will be a natural team player with a desire to grow professionally. This role is ideal for someone eager to be involved in nurse-led procedures and looking to expand their clinical knowledge and hands-on skills. Strong communication and empathy are essential in building trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering outstanding care across a varied caseload, from medical stabilisation and imaging assessments to complex orthopaedic and surgical cases. The hospital actively encourages nurses to play a key role in procedures and clinical decision making.
