Manpower currently has a great opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer from either bodyshop or accident repair background, to join an accident repair centre, which is very well recognized in the industry.
The Job: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter
1. Painting damaged vehicles that have been repaired to a high standard.
2. Be conversant in up-to-date water-based paint systems.
3. Prepare vehicles to be painted by hand or machine.
4. Mix and match paint by eye or using computer technology to ensure correct colour match.
5. Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats.
6. Touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles.
7. Knowledge of blending paintwork is essential.
8. Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork.
9. Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
10. Paint spraying the entire vehicle.
11. Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to specific areas.
12. Must be comfortable in a painting environment.
You must have experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer.
Job Experience Required: Vehicle Paint Sprayer
Car painting and technical knowledge, experience in the accident repair and bodyshop industry.
Skills in applying and using knowledge to ensure work is finished to a high standard.
This is a temporary position with an immediate start, working days, paying £19.23 per hour.
