Description Overview : The Animation & Motion Graphics Designer will join the Sales Enablement Team based on a hybrid basis out of our stunning city centre office in Leeds. The role holder will have responsibility for working with the Team and a variety of internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements, objectives and target audience for animated and video solutions that are aligned with our brand vision and strategy. You will create, develop and manage animated assets education of our products and services internally and work with clients in the share plan creative space to support and increase our market share and ultimately, our revenue across MUFG Corporate Markets. You therefore need: • A qualification in animation or a related field with experience of designing and producing animation • Design software proficiency in animation and video editing software e.g. Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro • A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of aesthetics and design principles, whilst effectively conveying intended messages • Demonstrable expertise in fundamental design principles, including typography, color theory, composition and branding, with the ability to articulate design thinking and rationale • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with an ability to articulate and defend design choices in complex scenarios with stakeholders • Demonstrable experience of managing workflows and adhering to brand visual guidelines with an ability to convey brand messaging through short, impactful video formats tailored for engagement online • An ability to take ownership of multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight, consistently delivery high-quality results and with an ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing requirements • A team player, with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the team and wider business • A creative flair, forthcoming with new ideas and creative communications from a brief overview • Proficiency within MS suite for PPT and Word and knowledge of AI and editing tools for video and animation production • The ability to participate and contribute to idea sessions to develop original concepts that communicate our brand or our client’s brand message effectively • The drive and desire to continuously research and be aware of the latest design trends, tools and techniques as well as to continuously improve and develop your own design skills • An ability to shift easily from high-level strategy development to hands-on implementation and the introduction of client centric programs Nice to have: • A graphic design background would be advantageous Day to Day, you will: • Design high quality animated graphics/videos and visual effects that ultimately aim to connect our Business Development Team and Relationship Managers with existing and future clients and their shareholders • Create in-house design provision for efficiency and cost effectiveness • Ensure all animated video and motion design work aligns with our brand identity, maintaining consistency in tone, style and quality • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in the MUFG Corporate Markets business to bring projects to life • Plan, manage and execute animated designs across all business units to support Sales Enablement (marketing) • Create and edit long form and short form videos for various social platforms, ensuring accuracy, clarity and adherence to our timelines and guidelines • Develop and produce motion graphics for a variety of digital content, including social media posts, marketing campaigns, explainer videos, dynamic and engaging gifs, animated logos and more • Work with the business to develop animated videos for inclusion in proposals to help the Business Development and Relationship Management Teams to deepen existing relationships, acquiring and cultivating new sales leads and / or extending business from existing clients • Support the Sales Enablement Team’s new ‘Share Plans creative offering’, by story boarding, scripting and creating final animated and video content that will be charged to clients for their employee share plan schemes • Support the business with copywriting and content production support across various channels, ensuring that their content is of the highest standard and effective in delivering the messages that we wish to convey to market • Support project-based work and communications for Employee Share Plans and issuers to make the plans engaging • Subtitle all video content and maintain impeccable grammar and punctuation skills at all time • Create animated and video design used in (but not limited to): Social media posts; CRM emails; Digital banner ads; Presentation decks; Company website; Client employee share plan assets • Maintain and organise video and animation libraries • Support the production process from concept to final edit The above list of key accountabilities is not an exhaustive list and may change from time-to-time based on business needs.
