**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Additional Resources.
As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will have a proven track record of providing specialist support to children and young people with various developmental challenges. This role involves working across community settings, including schools and homes, to deliver tailored therapy plans and interventions that enhance physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluating the needs of children to create customised therapy plans that meet their unique requirements.
* Delivering therapeutic interventions to address Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties, and other developmental challenges.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educational staff, fellow therapists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive support.
* Maintaining accurate and compliant records as per HCPC standards, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
* Traveling to various locations for assessments and therapy provision, utilizing your expertise to make a positive impact.
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified Occupational Therapist or similar professional with at least 2 years' experience in pediatric settings.
* Proven experience working with children, particularly those with complex needs, and a deep understanding of the challenges they face.
* Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, with a strong emphasis on pediatric care.
* HCPC registration, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Ideal candidates will possess training in Sensory Integration and qualifications in attachment and trauma, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
* A full driving licence and access to a car for business use, with valid insurance coverage.
