Infrastructure Engineering Lead - Submarines

As the Infrastructure Engineering Lead, you will be embedded within the PCO Expansion major project on behalf of the Infrastructure Design Authority as the key Engineering point of contact. This role will utilise a Systems Engineering approach to define and manage interdependencies between systems to meet the requirements and ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the asset build lifecycle. You will also act as the key interface for the Design Authority and Business Information Modelling (BIM) departments, managing all Engineering artefacts in both directions.
What you will be doing:
* Elicit and validate all stakeholder technical requirements including regulatory, business, customer, and partners.
* Define key system & coordinate activities across stakeholders to define and manage interdependencies between systems.
* Lead and manage the functional interfaces internally and/or externally to ensure that appropriate governance is in place throughout the engineering lifecycle processes to assure the highest professional standards are met.
* Assure that the design is in line with the requirements, and the design intent is maintained throughout the project build lifecycle.
* Be the Engineering lead/interface for the Infrastructure Design Authority into this major project, managing all key artefacts.
Who we’re looking for:
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
* Systems Engineering experience on major projects.
* Infrastructure design & build experience desirable.
* Demonstrate sound Engineering judgement.
* Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business, an individual must hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently have this in place.
