Job Description
As part of the People Performance team, reporting into the People Business Partner, you’ll work in a generalist role supporting the delivery of our people plans. You’ll partner with our Retail teams, specifically with Regional/Area Managers, supporting them with people solutions across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include:
4. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders
5. Holding regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience
6. Working with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development
7. Completing talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress of these
8. Succession planning for key roles
9. Supporting with upskilling of managers
10. Maintaining a focus on colleague engagement
11. Supporting with new store openings and closure processes
12. Managing employee relations cases
Qualifications
13. Ideally previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role
14. Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases
15. Experience of working within a highly customer centric or retail environment
16. To be confident working with data
17. Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems
18. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make impact and build effective relationships
19. Ability to collaborate, persuade and influence
20. To be assertive, resilient and tenacious with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities
