Job summary We are seeking to appoint a full-time substantive ENT consultant with special interest in rhinology and anterior skull base at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. NUH is a NHS tertiary center which attracts regional referrals from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. This is an exciting new full time post attracting 10 programmed activities (PA's) to support and further develop the existing advanced rhinology and anterior skull base service. There will also be an opportunity to expand awake rhinology surgery. The post is available to start with immediate effect. Applicants should be on the Specialist Register and have completed or be undertaking an anterior skull base fellowship. Subject to negotiation, it is likely that a suitable candidate currently undertaking a Fellowship would be encouraged to complete their advanced training before taking up the position. The department is situated in a purpose built PFI building and is shared with Ophthalmology. Our outpatient consulting rooms has been equipped with new state-of-the-art videoendoscopic equipment. There is a 34 bedded inpatient/day case ward for adults, shared with Maxillofacial Surgery and Ophthalmology and a 22 bedded paediatric surgical specialty ward.
