Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Telford
Salary: £150-£220 per day
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of students studying Modern Foreign Languages, focusing on the designated language(s) (e.g. French, Spanish, etc).
Employ a variety of teaching techniques and resources to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content and ensure consistency in teaching methods across the department.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
Support and guide students in their language learning journey, fostering their enthusiasm and motivation.
Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting mutual respect and positive behaviour.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages or related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at the secondary school level.
Excellent knowledge and fluency in the designated language(s) of instruction.
Passion for education and a genuine commitment to students' academic and personal development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Familiarity with current teaching methodologies and the use of technology in the classroom.
Organisational and time-management skills to effectively plan and manage lessons and assessments.
A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
