About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, accurate and complete documentation, monitoring and observing for any health changes, administering medications, and reporting to the management team.
* Must be able to work alternate weekends
* Medication training desirable (electronic MAR system)
* NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care desirable – NVQ 2 essential and willing to complete level 3.
* Must have experience as shift lead/senior carer
* Experience of creating/reviewing care plans
* Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act & DOLS.

Desired Criteria
* Supervisory or management qualification
* Ability to induct and orientate new employees
* Organize and plan supervision and appraisals for care staff
* Knowledge of rota planning
* Medication training on electronic MAR system
Required Criteria
* Good English - Written & Verbal
* Ability to dispense medication following service policies & procedures
* Previous experience of working in a similar environment
* Previous experience of working in a similar supervisory role
* Proficient written skills for documentation
* Completed NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care
* Experience of creating/reviewing care plans
