Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Ilford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) studying for their GCSE examinations Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student Deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff to provide updates on student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: A relevant degree in Education or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Familiarity with different learning disabilities and effective teaching techniques Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN) Experience using assistive technology to support student learning Working Conditions: Temporary position with Part-Time hours Work closely with students, parents, teachers, and support staff Varied work environments including classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
