The Contracts Engineer will be the focal point within the business for the assigned parts contracts for our customers for all HTO-UK products. This includes workingclosely with the customer, operational colleagues, other team members and also our Sales & ProjectsTeams (which includes regional colleagues and agents), to manage all aspects of delivery of our spare partscontracts. Responsible for managing general and informal customer and internal enquiries about their challenges and our productsolutions, the role requires ahighly flexible individual who can be responsive with a customer focused attitude ensuring the highest levels of customersatisfaction. What will you do - Managing spares parts supply contracts from handover through to the end of our warranty obligations. - Responsible for the pro-active management of the costs and project margin for the complete scope of supply in-house manufactured and bought-out equipment and / or services. - Assess the order received and identify the full scope of supply. - Liaise with design engineers and manufacturing areas to ensure full compliance with original design specification, customer specifications and delivery requirements. - Working closely with our Supply Chain Team to issue enquiries and orders to suppliers for proprietary equipment. - Working closely with Operational colleagues on the manufacture of in-house products. - Working closely with colleagues in Quality Assurance to ensure the appropriate quality requirements areplanned and achieved. - Liaise with colleagues as appropriate to resolve any issues on contract conditions and financial requirements - Manage the full technical and commercial information for all assigned contracts. - Negotiation on issues with customers as appropriate and within levels of delegated authority. - Actively seek opportunities to offer additional products and services that will add value to the customer. - Diligence at all times in protecting the Company commercial and warranty liabilities.
