Our client, a well-established and respected law firm in Eastbourne, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing team. The company prides itself on delivering high-quality legal services and has a strong reputation in the local property market.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will handle a varied caseload of residential property matters, ensuring smooth transactions from instruction to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a high-quality caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
Handling freehold and leasehold transactions
Conducting title checks, preparing contracts, and dealing with Land Registry applications
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
Ensuring compliance with CQS requirements
Providing exceptional client care and maintaining strong relationshipsAbout You:
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive)
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
Excellent communication and client care skills
Experience with case management systems and digital conveyancing platformsWhat’s on Offer?
