We are looking for a Specialist Nurse/SALT/OT/ASW Psychological Practitioner to join the well-established Autism Assessment Team in North East London NHS Foundation Trust. The role primarily involves working with children and young people and their families and carers. This is a great opportunity to join our highly skilled, dedicated, and friendly team.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, which will include mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment. New starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

* Substantial experience of working with CYP with complex mental health needs.
* Minimum 4 years post-registration experience in acute and/or community setting.
* Minimum of 2 years experience of working with children and young people who have complex health care needs and disabilities.
* Experience of multi-agency/disciplinary working.
* Evidence of innovative and evidence-based practice.

* Basic awareness of IT and IT skills.
* Proven ability to prioritise and manage a caseload (self & others) without supervision.
