As a key member of our team, you'll report to the Financial Controller and play an important role in shaping HWS’s forecasts, annual budgeting, operating plan variance analysis, and any financial analysis requests by our leadership team.
The FP&A Associate will work closely with the FP&A/BI Manager to deliver strategic insights, create compelling financial presentations, conduct capital expenditure analysis, and perform industry and peer group comparisons. This position is essential in fueling the analytical powerhouse of the company, helping us make informed and effective business decisions.

Requirements
* Provide insight to Finance Leadership to support the creation of the overall business plan
* Build good working relationships with Business Partners, providing insightful analysis that drive their vertical’s profitable growth
* Develop first drafts of the annual business plan, budgets and cash flow projections and work with Business Partners to finalise output
* Gather data and other inputs from appropriate tools / systems/ finance teams for the plans/ budgets and forecasts
* Review and validate the data, coordinate with Business Partners, and General accounting & reporting teams, other teams to verify any queries
* Upload the data in the appropriate tools and systems and carry out control checks
* Conduct analysis, provide insight and commentary by working closely with Business Partners and reporting team
* Support implementation and user take up of Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports via standard ways of working throughout the group
* Contribute to process excellence by identifying improvement opportunities to make the process leaner and effective
* Support team members in daily activities as and when required
* Proactively highlight/escalate any issues or challenges foreseen
Person Specification
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
* Professional accountancy qualification (i.e. ACCA, CPA, CIMA or ACA)
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Excellent business analysis skills and proficiency with analytical tools
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
