Our team of experienced Staff Nurses and Support Workers assess individuals with differing diagnoses of dementia such as early onset Alzheimers disease, Korsakoffs dementia and vascular dementia. The assessment process is usually 12 weeks, with the team working closely with the individual, their families and carers, and other professionals involved in their care. The unit is fast paced but highly rewarding, determining the level of need an individual requires whatever stage they are at, in their dementia journey. Our teams are specialists and are passionate about what they do. We specifically select our staff not just for their skills, but for their personal qualities such as warmth, optimism, and a natural desire to help others. We have high levels of qualified nursing staff available 24 hours a day, who are supported by our dedicated team of support workers, to enable our residents to: Keep a sense of meaning and purpose in life.
