Job Description
Overall relationship building, development, and administration of designated key accounts.
Should be able to work under a high degree of autonomy, be self-motivated, and use initiative.
Have a degree of commercial awareness and understanding of the client's business needs and be willing to gain an understanding of a client's business operation and requirements.
At annual renewal, the Account Manager should research the options available to the client and present these in a clear, concise, and timely manner, with the aim of giving the client the best possible service and retaining their business while advising on other products that may complement the client.
Will also assist with other clients as required.
The Account Manager is the client's first point of contact for any changes or queries relating to their account. Any such queries or changes should be actioned promptly and accurately, with clear communication to both the client and the insurer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-day liaison by telephone and email with clients.
2. Actioning client requests.
3. Confirming all actions taken to both client and company in writing.
4. Keeping up-to-date with all company products & services to accurately advise clients.
5. Liaising with clients in the period leading up to annual renewal, performing market research where applicable and making appropriate recommendations.
6. Noting all correspondence undertaken with clients on the database.
7. Keeping client details current and correct on the database.
8. Dealing with invoices and invoice queries on behalf of client and company.
9. Producing reports and presentations for clients as needed.
10. Ensuring the best possible customer service is provided to clients and that any issues are escalated to management promptly.
11. Informing management of any lapsed clients and reasons for the lapse.
12. Completing a full Fact Find with each client to ensure we can provide the best possible advice.
13. Keeping up to date with market products and maintaining records of training for continued personal development - minimum of 15 hours required per calendar year.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, currently working one day a month from the office.
