Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
1. Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students.
3. Conduct outreach sessions to engage with students in various educational settings.
4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student learning.
5. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEN students
- Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum for Key Stage 3
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students
- Proficiency in assessing student abilities and designing appropriate learning interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Special Education
- Experience with outreach programmes in educational settings
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in educational institutions, community centres or learners homes
- Travel within the East of England region may be required
- Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
