This role involves delivering apprenticeships in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and operational excellence to help apprentices improve workplace processes and achieve their qualifications.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide training for LEAN Manufacturing Operative – Level 2 and Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician – Level 3 apprenticeships.
* Support learners in implementing lean principles and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to enhance operational efficiency.
* Monitor learner progress and ensure the timely completion of apprenticeship milestones.
* Ensuring that as BIT / LEAN Apprenticeship Trainer and expert that you offer constructive feedback and tailor teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
* Stay informed about industry trends in continuous improvement, workforce development, and process optimisation to deliver engaging and relevant training sessions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in BIT and PMO training.
* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing practices, process improvement techniques, and their practical applications.
* PTTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience in delivering apprenticeship training within manufacturing, engineering, or FMCG sectors.
* A commitment to helping people develop professionally and improve business processes.
