\nElevation Accountancy & Finance Recruitment are excited to have partnered with a local organisation as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant.

\nThis position offers an excellent opportunity for career development, including the chance to take responsibility for preparing the full set of management accounts, up to the review stage.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\n
\n\t
* Assist in producing monthly management accounts, including tasks such as accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n\t
* Support the budgeting process and contribute to cash flow forecasting.
\n\t
* Provide insightful analysis to aid business decision-making.
\n\t
* Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement best practices within the finance function.
\n\t
* Work alongside external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant audit processes.
\n\t
* Contribute to the implementation of a new company-wide system (Sage 200 / CIM 200).
\n
\n\n
\nSkills & Qualifications Required:
\n\n
\n\t
* Hands-on experience with accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
\n\t
* AAT Level 4 (required)
\n\t
* Progressing toward a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred
\n\t
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
\n\t
* Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
\n\t
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
\n\t
* A commitment to continuous professional development
