Join the new platform of self-employed Care Assistants finding rewarding care work through All Carer Services Ltd online platform.
We don’t provide any sponsorship; all our carers are self-employed, as we are an introductory agency.
All Carer Services Ltd is launching Live-in and hourly care in the West Midlands area – be amongst the first to apply! We’re looking for self-employed Care Assistants to join our platform and provide one-to-one support to older people at home. The placements will be available throughout the surrounding area.
Providing personalised care through one-off or regular weekly visits, you’ll work directly with the customer to create a schedule everyone is happy with – meaning caring with All Carer Services Ltd can fit around your friends, family, and hobbies.
Care recipients are likely to not yet need or want round-the-clock support, so hours may be flexible throughout the day depending on the placement. Your assistance will help them to stay in control and independent for as long as possible, and you’ll have plenty of time to provide meaningful support and form real connections.
Requirements:
* Be able to work independently (with no manager supervision) in the care recipient's home.
* Can drive and have a UK driving license and access to your vehicle.
* Able to commit at least 2 weeks of care.
* Have at least 1 year of professional care experience.
* The ability to pass a background check (enhanced DBS in England and Wales, or a PVG in Scotland).
* The ability to provide 2 professional references that All Carer Services Ltd can verify.
* A good level of spoken English and the right to work in the UK.
* Happy to work as a bank carer and self-employed carer.
With ACS you’ll get:
* Your travel costs to and from your placement paid in full, no matter how far you travel within the UK (40p per mile).
* Full flexibility to choose who you care for as a live-in carer, and when, all of which can be easily managed in our online portal.
* Your own comfortable private space when working on placement, plus the cost of all meals covered (£35 per week from family or they will provide you).
* Dedicated round-the-clock support from our expert support team, and a 24-hour placement helpline.
What you’ll need:
* A real passion for improving the lives of older people.
* Ability to commit to placements for a minimum of 14 nights.
* A valid clean enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check in England & Wales or PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups membership) in Scotland.
* Professional experience working in adult or elderly care.
* Ability to provide 2 professional references that ACS can verify; should be from companies' domain email addresses. If personal references, then provide the contact details as well.
* Good level of spoken English and the right to work in the UK.
* Ability to attend a 20-30 minute online interview, so that we can get to know you better.
