Onsite Desktop Support Analyst role on Darwen. Job title: Desktop Support Analyst (TVL) Job Description: Help strengthen our Team as our onsite Desktop Support Analyst based in our Darwen office. Great Opportunity to join our team as our Desktop Support Analyst to provide on-site 2nd line operating system and software and hardware support for all Capita managed devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and other mobile devices. You will also help with provisioning of new devices and provide eyes and hands support for investigating incidents, these include network, printer, mobile device or telephony. In addition to on-site support, you will provide remote assistance to end users working away from site. You will also coordinate with other resolving teams to bring about resolutions within SLAs. What You'll Be Doing: Investigating and resolving complex incidents / problems related to laptops, desktop and mobile devices, working with the customer, other teams and vendors where necessary in line with priority/business impact, ensuring SLAs are met. Maintaining and producing documentation for support procedures. Liaising with third party software/hardware suppliers or maintenance suppliers where necessary. Providing technical input to internal projects and service teams. Assisting with maintaining accurate and up to date asset management details in the shared CMDB because of any changes. Managing equipment spares including desktops, laptops and mobile devices. On receipt of a new Kit (desktop, Laptop, tablet), ensuring that the kit has the right build/profile, asset tag as per the defined processes and the CMDB update. What we're looking for: Proven 2nd line on site desktop support experience. Windows 10 and Windows 11 and support Office 365 Active Directory administration (Users and Computers) A good understanding of Network support including wireless technologies. Hardware support liaising with manufacturer for in and out of warranty repairs for desktops and laptops Experience of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD and 365 Admin and Intune Autopilot Ability to be able to work on own initiative and work as part of a wider team. Experience in deployment projects and specifically Intune managed devices Ability to be adaptable and able to learn quickly. Strong collaboration and communication skills Effective problem resolution skills. Willingness to provide out of hours support for office moves. Physical lifting and movement of IT equipment.
