Project Manager responsible for managing projects, customer relationships, managing and coordinating activities within the Summers-Inman Project Management Team as appropriate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Supporting Directors in delivering business objectives.
* Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.
* Delivering high quality services and ensuring that project management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements.
* Managing teams to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business QMS procedures.
* Administrating contracts.
* Producing and presenting reports to Clients.
* Managing service delivery for profit.
* Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Summers-Inman professional indemnity (PI) insurance.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge and experience of project management techniques.
* Knowledge of the industry and construction methods and materials.
* Knowledge of construction procurement strategies.
* Experienced in administering construction contracts.
* Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
* Ability to motivate others in promoting a collaborative working environment.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
* Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
* Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills.
* Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
* Ability to work as part of a team and to manage teams.
Qualifications:
* MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors); or
* MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers); or
* MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building)
