Are you an experienced Building Control professional ready to take on a leading role in ensuring building safety and compliance? Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a Principal Building Control Surveyor to join our dedicated team of professionals. This role is crucial to our commitment to upholding the standards expected by the Building Safety Regulator, for ensuring that all building work within Cheshire West and Chester is compliant with the Building Regulations 2010 and that we fulfil our obligations as a building control body under the provisions of the Building Act 1984. As a Principal Building Control Surveyor, you will direct a small team of surveyors and will lead on some of the more complex projects within the borough, offer expert advice, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. Your skills will be key in promoting safety and excellence in our built environment. As an experienced Building Control professional, you will have a registration rating of at least 2F with the Building Safety Regulator and a minimum of 4 years’ experience working within a Building Control service dealing with a broad range of projects within the 2F category.
