CRS are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support our clients team in the Lancaster offices. This role is essential in ensuring that project timelines are met and that all documentation is maintained accurately. The successful Project Assistant will be working with Project Managers to assist with the Document Control and Planning of individual contracts. Working with a ERP implementation team, to review, assess and process map business systems and to clearly document progress against the ERP implementation plans. Develop skills and knowledge using a combination of on-the-job training, mentoring from PMs and the ERP team leads, plus any third-party training providers necessary to ensure you have the skills to complete process mapping. Responsibilities of Project Assistant: Working within the company HSE management system taking into account the additional specific health & safety requirements of customers. To assist the ERP team leaders with all administration activities; meetings, documents, plans and process maps. Process Mapping using proprietary software 2C8 ( training will be provided ). Arranging implementation and consultancy meetings. Managing team members attendance and diaries. Managing the progress and collating costs. Project Assistant support (secondary) Assist with the execution of individual projects from Sales handover until final delivery controlling the financial, technical and commercial aspects of the contract. Inter department liaison, to understand internal delivery dates for Project tasks. Mitigate project risk where possible. Coordinate project reviews and meetings. Document and present cost control and forecasting activities. To work in accordance with Client doc control requirements, such as: transmittals, front sheets, numbering & revision processes. To use Client Document Control software and Doc Control ( training will be provided ). Qualifications / Experience for Project Assistant : Appropriate academic qualification to demonstrate ability to learn Minimum 5 years experience within an engineering environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Working knowledge of IFS ERP system Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8.00 to 4.30 Friday 8.00 to 13.00 Flexitime is considered, no remote working available In return we offer an competitive salary plus: Pension Healthcare plan Flexitime 33 days holiday Additional benefits / discounts
