Children's Carer - Band 3 Full Time/ Part Time/ Flexible Working Permanent Investment into The Birches Respite Team has created the opportunity to recruit Band 3 Children's Carers. The team supports children with complex health needs in their own homes, school and The Birches Respite Unit. The service delivers care 7 days a week over 24 hours so a willingness to work shifts especially night shifts is essential. Main duties of the job The role will involve delivering care to several children in a variety of settings including the respite unit, schools and homes. The successful candidates will be trained in a variety of clinical skills such as gastrostomy feeding, suction, oxygen therapy using a competency based framework.
