Contract: Temporary for 2 years
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity within the Transport team for a Digital and Data Lead to influence and help shape the future of our fleet becoming carbon neutral.
The successful candidate will be required to lead digital projects for the transport department and analyse data to transition the Constabulary into a carbon neutral fleet future. Understanding the data and technical requirements are challenging. The role holder will be within the senior management team led by the fleet manager, digital enhancement is required for telematics, fleet management and diagnostics to provide a quality fleet for staff and officers to perform their critical roles in Hampshire and the IOW.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to :
1. Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
(internal and external), across the business areas, using these to
achieve improved efficiency of current and future transport
management digital products.
2. Manage departmental readiness assessment, mapping activity and
identifying gaps between current and future state digital processes
to prepare for future systems within transport management.
3. Be a subject matter expert for the Transport Departments ICT
provision and capabilities, use professional expertise and evidence
from National teams to maximise efficiencies within the
Department.
4. Lead Transport Digital Change projects by working alongside ICT
business partners and ICT procurement to start and finish required
initiatives.
5. Track progress against project plans and objectives, holding
individuals to account for actions and making sure each element is
on track.
6. Manage the budget and financial deliverables : tracking of cost vs.
benefits of each project
