We seek a Senior Enterprise Architect who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment.
As a contributor to the efforts of the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab Wargaming Division, you will provide Scientific and Technical Deliverables by analyzing, designing, evaluating, and planning the Business Architecture & Information Technology Systems Architecture to optimize the enterprise information technology architecture. This senior IT professional will evaluate, coordinate, and implement dynamic technical solutions, integrate complex architectures, improve systems, and connect networks. You will work to improve technical and mission operations, integrate new capabilities, evaluate future requirements, and facilitate data operations and recovery of systems. May provide consultation on complex projects and is a top-level contributor/specialist.

Responsibilities:
1. Analyze user and mission needs and requirements to plan and implement architecture solutions.
2. Capture and integrate essential system capabilities or business functions required for partial or complete system restoration after a catastrophic failure event.
3. Define appropriate levels of system availability based on critical system functions and ensure system requirements identify appropriate disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements to include any appropriate fail-over/alternate site requirements, backup requirements, and material supportability requirements for system recovery/restoration.
4. Develop enterprise architecture or system components required to meet user needs.
5. Employ secure configuration management processes.
6. Document and update all definition and architecture activities as necessary.
7. Ensure that the acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with the organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
8. Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
9. Integrate results regarding the identification of gaps in security architecture.
10. Plan implementation strategy to ensure enterprise components can be integrated and aligned.
11. Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
12. Provide input to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life-cycle support plans, the concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials).
13. Translate proposed capabilities into technical requirements and specifications.
14. Document how implementing a new system or new interface between systems impacts the current and targeted environments, including, but not limited to, security posture, and capability gap assessment.
15. Integrate essential management functions as related to cyberspace.
16. Write detailed functional specifications that document the architecture development process.
