Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking to recruit diverse, dynamic and enthusiastic team members to join Ridgeway within our female pathway. Working closely with our external partners and stakeholders to ensure the right care in a timely manner to this patient group. From education and prevention to crisis and specialist care --our talented and compassionate teams work in partnership with our patients, communities, carers, and partners to help the people of our region feel safe, understood, believed in, and cared for.
This post is only open to those candidates who already have their NMC registration in place and have successfully completed the preceptorship programme.
Please note: Newly qualified applicants or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process.
Main duties of the job
The recovery model within the female pathway uses a range of evidence-based interventions to address the service user's medical, physical, psychological and social needs, embedding Trauma Informed Care and Positive Behaviour Support principles on a day-to-day basis as the foundations of structure, routine and care plans of our patients.
By adopting this approach, nursing teams focus on a complete picture of the service user's journey both past and present in order to prescribe the most effective care. This in turn influences all of our interactions and interventions in order to provide the safest and best possible care at all times.
We are looking to attract experienced registered mental health and learning disability nurses to embark upon and develop the Female pathway within Ridgeway Hospital.
You will need excellent communication skills and a teamwork ethos.
The position requires shift work, including occasional nights, on a rotational basis.
