Position: Senior Digital Analyst - Ecommerce
Reporting to: Senior Digital Insights & Analytics Manager.
What You'll Do: As our new Senior Digital Analyst - Ecommerce you’ll be at the heart of our digital transformation, playing a pivotal role in deciphering the factors driving our ecommerce performance and customer behavior. Your mission? To uncover actionable insights that propel us toward greater success.
* Impactful Insights: Dive deep into customer behaviour and retail media, uncovering trends and opportunities that shape our ecommerce strategy.
* Performance Enhancement: Not only focusing on reporting and data management, you'll provide insights that directly influence our strategies, driving significant improvements in performance.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the strategic direction and lead the day-to-day transition to a data-driven culture, aligning analytics with business goals and informing crucial decisions.
* Empower stakeholders through ad-hoc analyses using ecommerce analytics platforms.
* Drive data-led optimisation; leverage digital data to optimize key business areas, from merchandising to commercial, with clear action recommendations.
* Foster data-first mindset; collaborate with stakeholders to embed data-driven decision making across all digital activities.
* Competitive intelligence: monitor market trends, analyse competitor performance, and share insights to inform strategic adjustments.
* Tool mastery & advocacy; become the E-commerce team's analytics power user, promoting tool awareness and capability.
* Forecast & budget with data by utilizing data to assist in accurate forecasting and budgeting for E-commerce channels.
* Prioritize & quantify impact; calculate incrementality and build data-driven business cases to prioritize opportunities.
* Data enrichment champion: recommend and help implement data tagging strategies to unlock deeper insights and inform future decisions.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Google Analytics.
* Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 setup, configuration, and data extraction.
* Deep understanding of the E-commerce landscape and key performance metrics.
* Ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive data-driven decision making.
* Skillful in identifying and addressing data-related challenges to optimize business performance.
* Excellent communication and storytelling presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
* Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments.
* Willingness to share knowledge and expertise to upskill the team on data analysis and tools.
* Experience in implementing cultural shifts and embedding data-driven practices within organizations.
* Experience with GA4, SimilarWeb & ContentSquare.
