Your Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain effective communication/interaction with all other departments, including but not limited to engineering, quality, materials, maintenance, and human resources support groups to achieve established targets.
* Plan and direct the utilization and use of all equipment and manpower to achieve the most effective results.
* Be responsible and accountable for meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Continuous Improvement (CI) objectives.
* Monitor work centers and stock centers to ensure a continuous supply of materials is available to production lines.
* Understand, compile, and organize operational data to implement improvements by working with teams and using lean tools and problem-solving methods.
* Monitor and adjust inventory balances as required, investigate inventory problems, and implement solutions to source.
* Coordinate preventative maintenance with Maintenance and Production Planning.
Who We Are Looking For
* Minimum 5 years manufacturing/operations experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
* Familiarity with welded sheet metal assemblies.
* Hands-on leader that works on the production floor motivating, mentoring, and driving the team to reach its targets.
Your Preferred Qualifications
* 2-year College (or University) Associates or Technical degree in Production/Operations Management or related field; vocational/trade school program certification in Manufacturing, Production, or related field; and/or equivalent work-related experience.
* Minimum 5 years manufacturing/operations experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
* Experience in operational improvements using Lean methods and techniques.
* Excellent math skills with the ability to apply to costs and analyze data.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational and planning skills.
* Strong listening skills as well as written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
