Aimed at increasing access to free condoms to promote consistent condom use. Encouraging sites/providers to register to the scheme and to train and support them to supply condoms to those registered with the C-Card scheme. Manage the procurement, registration to the scheme and provision of supplies to all sites & remotely, ensuring clear understanding of the number of condoms given out at each site. Promotion of the scheme through a variety of media activities. Co-ordinate training for free condom providers. Work closely with providers to support the distribution of condoms e.g. youth workers, schools, colleges to deliver the service Increase accessibility of routine (asymptomatic) chlamydia and gonorrhoea screening and signposting to treatment for C&YP, 13-24 year olds. This will be achieved through the promotion and provision of testing kits and will target young women as they are more likely to present asymptomatically. Work with labs to process testing kits and ensure accurate and sensitive confirmation of test result. Establish clear pathways with other sexual health providers (i.e. i-CASH) to reduce overlap within the system and ensure greatest impact. Ensure robust test-kit processing and notification processes for both the young person/adult, partner notifications, and rapid access to locally agreed treatment pathways. Coordinate and participate in national sexual health and HIV campaigns in collaboration with other partners and the integrated sexual health services. Establish relationships with local stakeholders (predominately schools and education settings) to identify thematic trends and fill gaps in education group-sessions for young people which complements/enhances relationship and sex education (RSE) provided through the PSHE teaching curriculum including STI testing promotion and outreach work. Deliver sexual and reproductive health sessions in schools, colleges, universities, youth settings. Be innovative in the approach to managing the c-card scheme, for example, possibly implementing the condom mobile app, to increase accessibility of free condoms and promote consistent condom use for young people. Co-ordinate campaigns that promote national and local sexual health campaigns to increase STI awareness and screening, stigma reduction towards sexual health using a range of communication strategies e.g. Social media, online, mobile, other technologies as appropriate and physical events. Co-ordinate sexual health outreach services for young people from high-risk groups to be delivered in non-traditional settings e.g. Looked after children, young people criminal justice system within the 25% most deprived wards across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough by middle super output areas (MSOA). Facilitate collaborative approaches with other services that are working in School Settings and contribute to the health, wellbeing and community safety agenda. To be able to support a team of professionals who are working with C&YP, their families and carers to become aware of the importance of adopting healthy behaviours through following EHs standard treatment protocols and COM-B approach to behaviour change Engage with all types of education settings staff, students, governors, parents/carers and their wider communities across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to work together to enable local C&YP, their families/carers and communities to be healthy, happy and achieve, and the reduction of health inequalities.
