WhoFoundWho is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Worker to join a vibrant, welcoming team in a special school for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), complex medical needs, severe sensory impairment, and other physical disabilities.

What You’ll Do as an SEN Support Worker:
* Comprehensive training: Take part in regular, ongoing training to develop and enhance your skills and professional practice.
* Hands-on care: Assist with personal care and support students with physical disabilities, complex medical needs, and sensory impairments.
* Therapeutic intervention: Work alongside a team of experienced and qualified therapists.
* Enhance learning: Work closely with the teaching team to create engaging, inclusive experiences that prepare young people for adulthood.
About the Successful SEN Support Worker:
* Naturally warm, caring, and compassionate.
* Experienced in manual handling and personal care (essential).
* Strong experience supporting individuals with a range of profound and complex physical and medical needs (essential).
* Equipped to support young people who are non-verbal or D/deaf with BSL or Makaton (essential).
* Further experience/training in feeding devices/PEG feeding, tracheostomy (beneficial).
* Ready to join a vibrant, friendly team where everyone is passionate about SEN support.
