Job Title: Logistics Co-ordinator Hybrid - 2 days in the office - 3 working from home. Role Overview: As a Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be a key member of the UK logistics team, responsible for processing and managing sales orders from initiation to completion. This includes data entry, coordinating transport logistics, liaising with customers and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with post-Brexit customs requirements. This role requires meticulous record-keeping and adherence to all legal and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Receive and process sales orders from the sales team and customers via phone and email. Coordinate with production sites (both company-owned and third-party) to verify product availability. Arrange transport logistics with pre-approved hauliers, ensuring on-time delivery and managing any delays. Communicate delays or issues to customers and liaise with all involved parties for resolution. Raise purchase orders to suppliers and process supplier invoices as necessary. Issue invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain records to ensure accurate and compliant documentation of all transactions. Take on ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Logistics Manager. Competence Requirements: Education: Graduate level or A-levels. Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload independently or within a team. Customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Commercial awareness and a solution-focused approach. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas). Experience with Microsoft NAV/Navision (desirable but not essential). Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Other Requirements: Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities.
