An esteemed and highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) School Group is seeking an exceptional and inspiring Head of Maths to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis at their Windsor campus. The Role:
The successful candidate will:
* Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement a robust and inclusive Maths curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs.
* Inspire and support both staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and high expectations.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives and enhance student outcomes.
* Engage positively with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to foster a supportive and inclusive school community.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN setting or with experience of differentiated teaching strategies.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a middle or senior leadership role being highly desirable.
* An in-depth understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and experience developing inclusive teaching practices.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
* A proactive, innovative, and reflective approach to teaching and leadership.
