Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with primary and secondary schools across Wigan, offering exciting opportunities for graduates to work as teaching assistants. This role provides paid school-based experience, making it a fantastic route to kickstart your career in education.
Position Details:
Start Date: September 2025
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay rate: Daily earnings starting at £90 per day
Weekly pay via PAYE
Opportunities in both primary and secondary schools
Supporting students across KS1-KS4
Temporary – permanent opportunities available

Degree-qualified graduate (any subject)
Able to travel to schools across Wigan
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students in both 1:1 and group learning settings, helping them build confidence, improve attainment, and stay engaged in education. You will guide students through teacher-led activities, provide intervention support, and help create a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
