What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint someone who:
• is an outstanding practitioner with a creative approach and determination to raise standards;
• has high expectations for pupil achievement and conduct and able to lead by example;
• has the determination and drive to make sure all pupils are actively involved in their learning and are guided and supported well, to ensure they become the best they can be;
• has good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate those around you;
• is able to lead a small team of support staff in the day to day running of the unit;
• is organised and prepared, but can adapt to the needs of the small village school where being part of a team is key to success;
• is committed to building positive relationships with the Church, local community and parents.
• Has a good understanding of both the EYFS and KS1 curriculums and knows how to maximise opportunities for all learners.
