Data Analysis: Conduct deep dives into credit management processes, customer debt profiles, and market trends to uncover root causes and identify actionable insights. Use advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to proactively manage debt challenges. Spot trends, patterns, and anomalies using data tools and ensure decisions are rooted in evidence. Stakeholder Management: Translate technical findings into clear, simple, and actionable insights for a variety of audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, billing, finance) to quantify the value and feasibility of proposed solutions. Present findings to senior leadership in an engaging and impactful way. Strategic and Commercial Acumen: Develop and implement data-driven strategies that optimise debt collection, reduce defaults, and enhance operational efficiency. Assess and quantify the business value and impact of proposed activities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Stay informed on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging approaches to credit risk management to ensure we remain at the forefront Are we the perfect match? We're keen to hear from candidates who possess the following core skills: Data Analysis: Strong technical skills in data manipulation and analysis (e.g., SQL), with the ability to uncover root causes, identify trends, and work effectively with data tools. Stakeholder Management: A proven ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights that can be understood by non-technical audiences. Strategic and Commercial Acumen: The ability to quantify the business value and impact of your work and align it with organisational priorities. We're open to considering candidates who demonstrate strong experience in points 1 and 2, even if point 3 is a development area. It would be great if you had: An understanding of the UK energy and/or utilities markets Experience using Python for data analysis Experience using Tableau for data visualisation At least 1 year of experience in debt management or a related field, preferably managing large customer portfolios. A track record of using data to improve customer and commercial outcomes. A self-starter who works well with minimal supervision and can adapt to new technical environments quickly.
