Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Salary: £37,668 - £44,700 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 Additional Weeks (41 Weeks per year)

Criteria:
* Registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Hold a professional degree in Speech & Language Therapy
* Full UK Driving Licence
Duties:
As a Speech & Language Therapist working with children with special education needs, learning, physical, and sensory disabilities, you will:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
* Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs, focusing on enhancing communication and social skills.
* Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions to support language development and sensory processing.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create a cohesive approach to each child's development.
* Offer training and guidance to school staff on implementing communication strategies within the classroom.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress of each student, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
* Work with a multi-disciplinary team to create holistic support plans, contributing speech and language expertise to wider educational and behavioral interventions.
* Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to support goal setting and progress tracking for each student.
