We are looking for Bank Switchboard Operators to join our 24 hour team at St Martins Hospital to help answer all internal and external calls in a polite and timely manner. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and patients attending St Martins outpatient appointments, providing a wide range of knowledge regarding location of clinics and to answer any queries. Using system one to triage information and log patient details, keyboard skills are advantageous, alongside a good work ethic. Have the ability to judge urgency of queries through in-depth questioning to determine the most appropriate member of staff to deal with the call. Have effective use of the IT switchboard system and the ability to use System one to input data and confidential information. Use Microsoft Teams to store information and update systems. Respond to District Nurse calls for the local area and to contact the relevant nurse. Book transport for Bloods and specimens. Provide admin support to the service and manager.
