Main duties of the job:
* To provide the highest standards of patient care and ensure that these standards of care are delivered.
* To perform all general duties of trained theatre personnel and in addition any duty requiring special skill and ability within the surgical/anaesthetic specialty.
* Assess and plan care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programme of care.

* RGN Diploma/ADNS/Nursing Degree
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
* HE Diploma/BSc in Operating Department Practice/NVQ Level 3 ODP/C & G 752
* Registered Operating Department Practitioner with valid HCPC registration

* Mentorship Qualification

* Evidence of inter-professional working

* Completed core/area specific competencies in anaesthetics, surgery +/or PACU (if worked at different Trust)
* Experience working within an operating department environment
